Dr Jens Goennemann has been Managing Director of AMGC since 2016. He brings extensive experience from overseeing large manufacturing operations in Australia and Europe. Jens served as Managing Director of Airbus Group Australia Pacific and Airbus Helicopters. Before his seven-year appointment to Australia, Jens spent six years in Germany with the former European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), today is known as Airbus Group. He was Head of the CEO’s office in Germany, and before that in charge of Soldier and Parafoil Systems within the Defence Division. Previously, Jens spent two years in Athens where he established and managed the Eurofighter Office of DaimlerChrysler Aerospace, one of the three founding partner companies of EADS. He began his career with Daimler-Benz AG in January 1996.
Dr Clive Milham is a National Technology Adviser on the Australian Federal Government's Entrepreneurs Programme, he is passionate about the future of Australian manufacturing and works closely with SMEs to improve their business performance through the strategic implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies.
Clive is an accomplished technical manager, with more than 20 years of experience in engineering, innovation and business management, and has successfully delivered projects including engineering design, industrial research and development, component manufacturing and assembly, qualification and certification, production startup, business transformation, continuous improvement and quality management. He has worked with leading Australian universities, Cooperative Research Centres and the CSIRO and has managed international, cross-functional teams to deliver award winning outcomes. He has collaborated with leading companies and research organisations in China, France, Germany, UK, USA and Australia.
Clive is a tertiary qualified mechanical engineer, holds a PhD in materials engineering and an MBA specializing in entrepreneurship and innovation management. His industry experience includes aerospace, rail, marine, plastics, oil and gas exploration, petrochemicals and mining.
Vela Georgiev is the founder of HardworX. She is motivated by a love of learning and the practical application of knowledge, and has built a career in engineering with a focus on manufacturing, operations and supply chain.
Vela brings 15+ years of experience through projects in areas such as agtech, instrumentation and smoke detection; and a proven track record of successfully launching hardware products into volume manufacturing.
In 2016, Vela started HardworX, to help growth stage startups and scaling SMEs unlock the power of hardware by demystifying manufacturing and the hardware supply chain.
